No, YOU'RE the best!

Know what's my favorite? Comments. Actually, commenters. YOU! I love you! I LOVE YOU!

So for Friday Favorites, you're my favorites. That means for everyone who leaves a comment today, I'm paying you a compliment tomorrow on my blog. Like if imaginary Sally So Sassy says, "Hi!", then tomorrow, I say, "I think Sally So Sassy's blog theme is super cool." And if Bitter Bart stops by and says, "I think you are odd," then tomorrow I will say, "Bitter Bart is so honest!"

So go ahead, be one of my favorites. I'm so excited for tomorrow!

It just occurred to me that this is kinda weird.

But I don't care. I was just thinking today about how much comments cheer me up and I struck upon this idea for saying thank you, and I'm stickin' with it.

Oh, and while I'm being random, I have purple and orange glasses with rhinestones. That I wear. Often.

I have a funny feeling you will be very busy… Good luck.

Thank you for loving us

As much as I hate receiving compliments, I don't want to spoil your day by not commenting.

My sister's glasses are black and white with rhinestones. I think you've got her beat. But you're both very cool.

Oh wow! How fun!!! :)

I bet your glasses look awesome!!!

One time I did "Compliment Day" for a friend and came up with 10 wonderful things about her. I think I felt better than she did at the end of it (just because sometimes it's hard to receive compliments). It was very uplifting. I ended up feeling very inspired by the inner beauty of the person I was trying to encourage.

Nothing new here! I am certainly not a lurker and you are so wonderful to drop by and comment on my blog. So, I'll just say, have a great weekend!

I'm in. I could use a good compliment about now...

Your glasses sound Halloween-fantabulous!

And this is not weird. This is exactly what happens in this little blogging world. Blogger bribery left and right. I'm holding my first real bit of that today in another 20 minutes. It's like communion.

(No offense to anyone Catholic ... I'm not meaning to degrade or mock a sacred religious rite. I'm just trying to show my first big bribe make me feel like I am finally, after years, officially at the blogger table.)

Okay. Too early. I'm clearly rambling.

Oooh! Can't wait to get a compliment!

(And now you gotta post a picture of you wearing the glasses. You know that, right?)

I don't even have a blog, so you know that I read because I actually like you and not so that you will read mine (or give me compliments).

Picture, please.

Whereas I almost always have something to say, you very nearly scared me off of commenting, because now I feel like by doing so I'm fishing for compliments.

(But I guess my strong commenting habit won out.)

We love you too! And now we must see pictures of your glasses.

Well. This is certainly an opportunity I can't pass up. Deal me in.

PS: I would like to request a compliment specifically about my left elbow. See what you can do.

I should try this... All my other attempts to wring comments out of my readership have failed.

So how pathetic is that I, who have never commented on your blog before (although I do read it a lot) is now deciding that the time is perfect to leave a comment???? BIG TIME PATHETIC, thats what!!!

The random glasses comment at the end of your post cracked me up! Will you post a photo of yourself wearing them?

Comments do cheer us up, huh?

I haven't been following your blog for long but I love the wide variety of posts. Everything from bathroom humor (I sometimes cross my legs when I sneeze) to celebrity sightings.

you know that there will always be a special place in my heart for you! good times and bad. we've been through a lot together over all these years. can you believe you were the first one to introduce my family to harry Potter and now we have like 10 copies of everybook and there is always someone, at any given time, reading one of them. I still have not read one. I want red glasses.

Way to rack up the comments, babe. See how needy and selfish we all are? Tsk.

By the way everyone? I get to meet her in April!

I just started blogging last week and I know just how you feel. A few hours after my second post I checked my blog and noticed two comments from people I didn't know!!!!

I cried. Dumb, yes. But if felt so good that someone actually was interested in what I was saying.

The Crash Test Dummy said...

Yes, this is exactly the TL game.

Good job, girlfriend. And LOOK! 29 comments. See how far love goes.

You've tapped into the blogging secret now.

Wait! wait! Dangit! That's it, that's the last time I work a day shift. I missed this post when it was new and now I'm without your bloggly love.

*Sigh*

But I still want to tell you you're great even thought I get nothing out of it.
