GIve Oh Give Away!

Yesterday was one of the best days ever. Check this out: People are reading my book. People who are not related to me by blood or marriage. People I never would have guessed in a million years would pick it up.

I know, right?

One of my best friends looked it up at the Salt Lake library for fun and there are already 18 holds on it. (Of course, 18 orders on Deseret Book's site is always nice, too, but hey--I'll take it!) Whoohoo!!!

Anyway, if you want to win a copy, just leave a comment on THIS POST. That's all. Just comment.(Poke around for fun while you're there. They're doing another giveaway today for a craft, too.)

Also, you can check out an interview with me at Annette Lyon's blog right here and find out where the idea for The List came from and how arduous my research was. (HA!)

If you want to win any of this stuff: a Huntington Beach sweatshirt, a Huntington Beach t-shirt, handmade wooden jewelry (from my hubs, who is awesome), or an OC ramps sweatshirt, all of which are pictured HERE, then you can get an entry for doing each of the following:

1. Grab a button, right there in my sidebar, and paste it into your blog. Let me know you did it.

2. Just click "Like" for my Facebook author page right here:

You don't have to tell me you did it. I'll know.

3. Visit my website (where you can read the first chapter of The List) and prove you were there by signing up for the newsletter. (It only goes out twice a year.) And you don't have to tell me you did this, either. I'll know that too. Easy, right?

That's it. Super easy. I'm going to have another celebration day and head out soon for a Mardi Gras lunch with one of my childhood friends from my Louisiana days. Laissez les bon temps rouler, y'all!

Can't wait to read your book! It's first on my list as soon as I finish the Whitney reading (got 11 books to go . . . ). I'm going to buy it on Kindle--I'm SO excited that I can get LDS fiction at the click of a mouse! ebooks are awesome for those of us with no LDS bookstores in the neighborhood.

Can't wait to get my hands on it. I planned to yesterday, but, well, it didn't quite happen. But I'll be near Ensign Books tomorrow.
