Want to go to Hawaii?

My friend Don Carey is letting me give away another of his books! Hooray for all of you! All you have to do to win is leave a comment on this post and tell me your most favorite vacation place. Contest closes on Saturday night.

Jordan MacDonald dreams of flying above his Hawaiian home, but his mother demands that he stay on the ground. Spurred by the pain of a failed relationship, however, Jordan secretly begins flying lessons. Just as he finds love again, Jordan's lies close in around him, and his dishonesty attracts more turbulence than he's ever faced in the air.

I haven't been on a lot of "real" vacations. I think the closest to not just visiting family members was Moab. If I could go on vacation anywhere right now, I would pick Italy. Or Iguazu Falls in Argentina. :)

I think going to the theme parks in Orlando was my favorite vacation...but that may have been because it was with my husband when we were engaged, and I just loved being with him. :) On a regular, affordable, vacation, I prefer the Oregon coast, and my dream is to go to Hawaii.

I would actually love this. I wanted to buy this at Storymakers but had to choose. I couldn't get every book I wanted. Not if I want to stay married.

My favorite vacation spot, believe it or not, is Nauvoo. Or Kauai. That was pretty beautiful.

Kauai was beyond beautiful, but I have to say Disneyland is our family's favorite. Nothing better than my little girls meeting the princesses!

I really love St. George, Utah. It's so sunny and the scenery is beautiful. Lots of fun hikes to go on and then historical sites to see. It's great!

Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland.
Or Paris. And not the one in Tennessee, either.
Palisades Reservoir.
Orvieto, Italy.
A lonely cabin up in the woods, close to running water, with no connectivity to the connected world whatsoever.

(What?!? We all know I'm prone to excess!)

I loved Hawaii, but it took SO LONG to get there. And we were flying with two year old twins and a five year old. So. If you can beam me there in under five minutes, I'd say Hawaii.

My most favorite vacation place that I have actually been to? NYC

But if I make it to Western Europe, I'm betting it will trump.

Ooh, I loved a trip to Spain I took - bringing the entire family (parents and siblings) along made it tough, but that was countered by the Alhambra and dark-haired men I couldn't understand AT ALL. Good times.

I have ALWAYS wanted to go to Hawaii, BTW. Never been, except in books... *pleading face*

My favorite vacation was backpacking in the Sierra mtns with the hub, and recently camping at Death Valley- I LOVE Death Valley in the Spring. I'd love to escape to Hawaii through books! Gimme! :-)

Hawaii is great, but I thought it was cool that my nephew and his wife spent their honeymoon in the Seychelles. No, their names are not Will and Kate, but the coincidence kind of proves the point.

People have no clue I am joking I am so hilarious! That said, the Redwood forest used to be my favorite place to visit but now it is a toss up between Hawaii and California! Have to say, after living in UT, CA, IL, MO, and TX, I think EVERY state likely has a great place to go! Never been out of the U.S./Canada region but I don't feel left out. We live in an amazing country!
